Senior UX Consultant
Are you a razor-sharp UX-expert, and would you like to join one of the leading digital agencies in town?
And would you like the chance to develop your strategic sense and client management skills in a challenging and fun environment? Then you might be the Senior UX Consultant we are looking for to help us shape the user experience for business-critical digital solutions for some of Denmark's most exciting companies.
A little bit about you
You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience designing user experiences, and you are focused on creating value in close interaction between team and client. You have an eye for both the end user and the client's business, and you know how to combine the two. You are a skilled crafter and fully aware of your UX-tool box, while also being capable of undertaking a mentoring role towards less experienced colleagues. You have a wide palette of consulting skills, and you are experienced in facilitating workshops for clarification of business needs. Furthermore, you are good at conveying the knowledge you have gathered to both your team and clients.
You have a good situational awareness, and you know just when to go with something yourself and when to delegate. That is because you truly believe that we as a team make each other better. Furthermore, you are motivated by always delivering your technical and professional best within all possible – and sometimes impossible – settings, and you perceive limitations within budget and tech like fun challenges instead of restrictions to your artistic freedom.
Moreover, it is important that you have the drive and energy to take on great responsibility. We expect you to be able to communicate and argue professionally about deliveries to our clients.
Your role at Knowit Experience
At Knowit Experience, you will combine input from clients and their users and translate these into concepts, wireframes, and prototypes. You will streamline the user experience for clients with complex businesses and a lot of different touchpoints, and you will claim ownership over the entire user experience while working closely together with both team and client in the process of creating just the right product – with just the right user experience, naturally. You will follow through from idea to final delivery and coordinate with relevant colleagues through the process.
It is not crucial to us what your favorite tool is, but some of your future colleagues use Sketch, Figma and just as often paper. You conceive information architecture and make interaction design that not only support business goals, but also is a pleasure to use. And most of all stands out in the mass of dull boringness on the internet.
Your tasks may include:
- Working with stakeholders to identify goals and requirements
- Working with developers and the rest of the team to secure quality
- Facilitating workshops, participatory design practice etc.
- User research/Customer Insights (qualitative and/or quantitative)
- Maturing user stories in close cooperation with the team and client
- Wireframing and sketching
- Taking ownership of client- and stakeholder management tasks
What can we offer you?
Naturally, we are competitive in salary and pension. Because if you are the one, we are looking for, you are skilled. The lunch is great, and so is the coffee. And we have a nice bright and open workspace right in the heart of Aarhus.
But if you really are the one, we are looking for, then you will not choose Knowit Experience because of these things. No, you will choose Knowit Experience because you are eager to become part of a skilled team that will both inspire and challenge you. A team that you can laugh with – also when you are busy solving the many exciting and challenging projects. And if you choose to claim it, a lot of responsibility is waiting for you.
Let your (potential) future colleague, Mirlo, tell you why it's awesome to work as a UX Consultant at Knowit Experience:
